The NFL has to get control of their stage. It belongs to the league and not to the talent. The word needs to go out that sideline personnel must stand for the national anthem. If you don’t want to stand, you must stay in the tunnels until the anthem is over. That is all. Any on-field disrespect during the anthem will be fined $10,000.

I worked for the Cincinnati Reds as a security guy.

It was both team and Riverfront policy that we stand and put our hands over our hearts during the anthem.

Same policy for the vendors. Stop any transaction, take off your hat and place it over your heart.

Not doing that was an *automatic* termination.

As it should be.
