I feel sorry for any fan of a team who’s players are SO disrespectful. I honestly don’t know what I would do if my team (Patriots) had players that did this.
Yes. All they need do is announce that the NFL is the National Football League. We play football. We do NOT make or direct government policy.The game honors our Nation, its Banner and its National Anthem. If any player cannot accomodate themselves to those realities without engaging in disrespectful displays, they must play somewhere else. They are no longer in the league. Effective immediately.
Keep the team in the locker room for the national anthem. Many colleges do this. Makes the most sense and the problem of idiots not standing goes away.
