If I was any sports team owner, I would tell all the players on the team:
Your politics is your business, keep it that way.
If you want to make it everyone’s business, on the public and commercial time of this team, then quit the team and go into politics, because I’m not paying you to turn our commercial time into your political ad.
Off the team public appearance time, you’re on your own.

I agree,and often wonder why they don’t.
Are they afraid of the entire “race” thing that is destroying the country—— and backlash from the press and the Al Sharptons of the world?
