Poor kid.

It’s a human being, not a dog.

That baby will someday be an adult, saddled with the name of * Eclipse*.

See boys and girls. White parents can give their kids stupid names too.

“Her older sisters name is Grayson.”1

Why would anybody name a girl a name with the word “son” in it? Do they WANT her to grow up to be a bull dyke?

Goofy names are a universal thing. If one reads genealogies or visits cemeteries, one just has to shrug.

One of my favorites from recent cemetery visits was “Adder Belle (Lastname)”. I joked that her twin sister, “Viper Sue,” must have moved west.

GMTA. I was just thinking, that name is something a kid would come up with for a pet. Sad.

Masculine names for girls are enjoying a resurgence. “-son” names for boys are also a fad. Poor girl named Grayson ... but at least she probably won’t be the only one. “-son” names will be as common as “Cindy” when I was a girl in the 60s.

I had a boss in the early 90s who called us all by our last names: Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Lopez. Otherwise, he couldn’t make it clear whom he meant.
