Yesterday, the “conservative” commentator Michael Medved endorsed the removal of Confederate monuments, saying that in pursuit of an evil cause—slavery—the Confederates killed more Americans than did the Nazis. He said that America was the only country in the world where monuments honoring the losers in a civil war can be found.

That’s only because America is (or at least once was) a very gracious country. In other lands, losers in a civil war are simply murdered. History is full of such examples. Oliver Cromwell had Charles I beheaded. Later, after Cromwell died, the royalists regained power in Britain. Cromwell’s body was dug up and mutilated.
Would Medved prefer that same attitude here in America? I guess so.
Medved is a louse, an infesting parasite sucking life blood from its host. He has no ability to think, only bite and spread disease.
