According to CNN, Mccauliff actually said the “militias had better guns than the police”.

Today he said that 80% of the Unite the Right group were carrying automatic? weapons. That is a lie.

They are trying to play the gun control card here.

At any rate, it speaks highly of the armed protesters that not a single shot was fired.
