Unfortunately, this isn’t gonna happen. Ken Cuccinelli, the conservative Republican candidate for governor four years ago, would have been a vast improvement (along with the rest of the ticket) who would have acted differently.
The national guard should have been present from the beginning to keep the protestors and counter protestors apart. The counter protestors caused most of the trouble.
Terry McAuliffe and the mayor of Charlottesville are indeed acting like Kathleen Blanco and Ray Nagin ( blame their idiocy on the Presidents “ lack of leadership” )
Hope every victim and all of the demostrators whose lawful free speech permit was mishandled sue them and every city agency and official to next Sunday
I dont think the final shoe has dropped on the facts behjnd this planned operation and hope DOJ does an honest investigation of who planned and funded the counter rioters - and if what it seems happened here did happen here, McAuliffes political career is done
