I don’t believe there are 15,000 “trans” people in this country, let alone in the military. Is the author including students from Transylvania University, the oldest college near me?
There’s much disagreement over the study suggesting it’s 15,000. A more recent study suggests approximately 4,000 when combining active and reserve duty people in the military who are trains.
