Yes, it’s prayer time for our President and all of us who support him.

The Senate had absolutely no reason to block him from making recess appointments. Zero reason to do so other than a few GOP Senators hate Trump or are blackmailed to cast their lot with the democrats.

The reason the Senate blocked Obama in 2016 from making a recess appointment is that Obama was following his master’s orders to appoint Garland to the USSC as Scalia’s seat was empty and thus obtain a series of court decisions that were favorable to the left. Obama at the behest of his masters was acting increasingly dictatorial and acting unilaterally without Congress in trade, climate agreements, immigration amnesty, and so on. Blocking him from making a recess appointment to the Supreme Court was quite reasonable. Not so with Trump.

It’s a great difference in recess appointing a Supreme Court Justice from that of a cabinet member, a prosecutor, or investigator. There is also a logjam of appointments held up, more than any other President of any administration.

So we have a coup started by those that against Trump. They are hellbent on impeachment no matter how preposterous it sounds to us, they are following through with it.

I still think Congress will not impeach but impeachment as a term will be on the daily schedule. The reason is that it frustrates the President from completing anything, and more importantly, it stymies any attempt to prosecute democrats and their GOP accomplices who are guilty of pay-for-play and who are otherwise compromised.

Sessions indeed has damaged the Trump Presidency. For without Sessions having recused himself, the size of this mess would never have gotten so out of control. I do think it is possible for Sessions to rescind his recusal explaining that he was goaded into overreacting, that a recusal was not necessary. In any event, Sessions has a free hand to prosecute the Awan matter which if successful and thorough will unravel the coup. I sense that Sessions will not pursue the Awans because he doesn’t have the right stuff. He is not impartial it seems. He seems too much a Senator rather than a prosecutor. And now he cannot be replaced with a recess appointment.

The key to saving the Trump presidency is the thorough, complete, aggressive prosecution of the Awans because he Awan matter implicates the democrat leadership in valid charges that cannot easily be dismissed.
