Not enough rain here. Thought they’d like the heat. Survived tough as nails last year. This year, so crowded, they need water 2 or 3 times a day.
Cooling off by at least 10 degrees or more. Maybe that will help. Still have two pots in the garage. Cherry tomatoes an d California Green Peppers - lost one plant but save a small pepper. He went into the pan-fried, oven-roasted rib-eye steaks I just made. Finally broke my steak streak. Been over 2.5 years. Woohoo
Pan-seared with white onions, bit of green pepper, soy sauce, italian dressing, salt, garlic salt, pepper, lemon pepper, ketchup, a bit of BBQ sauce, some parsley flakes. Then roasted in the oven at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
With a side of frozen peas and carrots, leftover potatoes from the roast in the fridge, and some 33 cent WM corn on the cob.
