we're tired so no watering of the garden tonite...
we've had one zuke, picked our garlic, enjoying the last of the lettuce, and expect some egg plant and beans pretty soon...

I have planning the fall garden on my list of things to do this coming week. Going to find all the things that can mature in 60 days or less - plant them in pots and put them on the patio that is shaded a good part of the day, then transplant them. That will take less water to get them going.
After the first frost, I think I may plant some winter wheat.
I’m still trying to kill my Yucca! The stuff is indestructible! Pull them out, but leave a 1/8 inch of root in the ground, and they grow right back!
