I wont go into a long thing, as I could, but just suggest trying to do something to *stretch* the back. As when lying down and stretching.

Things happen, as you mentioned, when nerves get compressed as when the disks get closer together when the pads? between them are compressed — in one way or another, or shrink.

I find when I cause something to hurt, later after I did it, it takes time to get better. Less time or more time.

Yes, the exercises I mentioned in the Physicians Handbook, are doing exactly that - stretching the back, I also skipped my weight lifting session to give it a chance to rest, and I took a bath in Epsom Salts which gave me a great deal of relief while I was in the hot water.
