We watch sports to escape from the 24/7 news cycle. Even if couple hours away from “the issues” can refresh us. But when you go to that safe place for fun and escape, and in the first 10 minutes you are confronted with “politics”...it proves there is no escape...so why tune into sports?
I’ve never heard politics intrude on an MLB game listening to the local radio play by play broadcasts. I’ve listened to a lot of different ones on SiriusXM.
