While many find it unappetizing, the defense in this case should and will investigate the victim.
Everything that was in her system will be revealed to the defense, as will all her medical records be made available by some manner to the defense.
I don’t see where any thing exculpatory will be found, but the information will be available.
Will the perp be as heavily investigated as the victim?
I rather doubt it.
I’d be willing to bet there was no timely blood draw, or even a breathalyzer.
