COCOA, Fla. —
Calling it “beyond heartless,” Cocoa police are denouncing a video that shows a man drowning and crying out in distress, while five teens watch and laugh.
Jamel Dunn, 31, of Cocoa, drowned in a retention pond in Cocoa on July 9, police said. His body was not discovered until July 12.
Shortly after the discovery, a video surfaced on social media that shows Dunn in the water while teenagers nearby mock and curse him, police said. Dunn cries out, and a burst of laughter ensues from the teens, one of whom recorded the video on a phone, police said.

Watch the video. They all had cell phones and could have called 911. They sat there, laughed and filmed it. They let him die instead of calling for help.
The teens sounded like they had black accents. If they are black and poor, they probably can’t swim. It’s a real problem of danger in the South.
If they were those evil white people the report would have described them as that.
OTOH...his "friends" are heartless, brain dead savage subhumans, who should join him in Davey Jones' locker.
My old next-door neighbor and childhood peer taught her child to swim when she was only a few months old. Sink or swim.
Murder by callus and depraved inaction. The “teens” that would do such a thing are beyond redemption.
On a previous thread about this, a member stated the truth: The left would be outraged by this if it were a dog.
The article I read earlier said they didn’t find the dead man for two days after he was reported missing. The hecklers never called anyone.
Poor blacks may not be able to swim true that. Tommy Sotomayor spoke on this but they damn sure have Obama phones or $800. smartphones and can call 911 on them. No excuse.

It’s very likely none of them knew how to swim. Most races you can just toss a kid in and they’ll naturally start dog paddling. Black kids just sink due to buoyancy being different. Because of this very few black kids ever learn how to swim baring extensive lessons. Swimming is also a much more terrifying experience for black kids making them less likely to get lessons even if they’re free or low cost.
No loss there.

Some people are natural ‘sinkers’. I’ve read that because of bone density, etc. blacks tend to be over represented in this group. They have to work harder just to keep their heads above water. If everyone you know is a ‘sinker’ you are likely to be justifiably afraid of the water. That said, there is no justification for not calling for help.
