Back around 2012...colleges around Arlington, VA area,
both two-year and four-year operations began to require a basic high school math course-at-the-college level....which meant zero credit but it was to raise you to the level expected in college. There was a bit of talk at the time that they were also talking about a history and English type non-credit college course....to bring people up to standards.

I expect in twenty years that as you graduate from high school...to get into any US university...you will have to attend twelve months of HS-level classes to satisfy most colleges. It says a lot about the ‘slippage’ of high school and the worthless value.

You can drop the sarcasm tag.

That answer IS being pushed out there.
It’s because the SAT is racist.

I expect within a decade the jelly-spined liberals
in charge of universities will cave and stop
requiring the test for admissions.

Another way I noticed this was when I started seeing “my child is an honor student at blank high school” bumper stickers. I knew a lot of these kids and I remember thinking I don’t think so.

A friends grandson flunked out of military school. He’s back in public high school and getting As. She wasn’t surprised because she knew how low the standards are in hs now.

This is just one more reason why we have so many low info types. That and the deliberate importing of masses of low IQ ‘cultures’.
