Bans Spread for Wonder Woman Over Israeli Star Gal Gadot

Qatar has joined Lebanon and Tunisia to become the latest state to ban the screening of the hit movie Wonder Woman starring Israeli actress Gal Gadot.

As Breitbart Jerusalem reported, Gadot, who served in the IDF during the 2006 Lebanon war, has come under fire for her open support of Israel, in particular for a tweet during 2014’s conflict with Gaza in which she prayed for the safety of Israel’s citizens.

Now Doha News reports the presence of the Israeli star in the blockbuster is enough for authorities in Qatar to ban the screening. Wonder Woman was initially scheduled to premiere in Doha last Thursday across local theater chains VOX Cinemas Qatar and Novo Cinemas.

On Facebook, she previously sent her “love and prayers to my fellow Israeli citizens. Especially to all the boys and girls who are risking their lives protecting my country against the horrific acts conducted by Hamas, who are hiding like cowards behind women and children…We shall overcome!!!”

The Arab world once again proves how backwards they are by banning the film. For those out there that think the key to peace in the Middle East hinges on a Paleostinian-Israeli agreement, here’s proof that there even if Israel were to roll over and play dead for the PLO/HAMAS, the Arab world would still reject them.

The Arabs need to grow up, mature, take responsibility for their miserable lives and move on with peace.

If you had read two more posts down you would have seen I corrected myself but you apparently couldn’t help yourself.

You won't regret it. I saw it opening weekend with my now (ex) girlfriend and we loved it. Honestly, very well done up to the last 10 minutes of CGI animation overload reminiscent of the original TV show.

Beyond that, IMO exceptionally well done and I think Linda Carter would be proud.

I'm gonna go see it again myself. The more these ayyyyrab's boycott things I like the more I'll do them. F'em.

We watched the movie on Saturday night. Although I don’t like the super hero movies, I was impressed with her, so I watched the entire movie.

It was surprisingly good.

(We watched it on a free movie site)

I've never seen the movie nor have I seen her act, but I now have a favorite movie star.

The Germans were allied with the Ottoman Empire in WW1 so islam was a major factor in that conflict. If not having to fight the Ottomans in the south Russia could have devoted more to the fight against Imperial Germany;and the British troops there could have been used in Italy or France.Likely enough to have tipped the scales before the United States entered the war.

Yes,

I only referred to the plot of Wonder Woman. She is an Israeli actress and the Arab states Israeli boycott has been applied to the movie. But no mention of Islam with Germany in the movie plot. In other words, Wonder Woman is not fighting or defeating Islam in the show. So the Arabs boycott is strictly the Israel hatred manifesting itself.
