Its safe to say President Donald Trump uses social media to provoke more than anything else, and a new post Sunday morning achieved just that. He tweeted a wrestling video in which he beats up CNN, which lead a former White House lawyer to call for his removal under the 25th Amendment.
Heres the Tweeter-in-Chiefs post:

Follow Norm Eisen ✔ @NormEisen This tweet is evidence of mental deterioration. The President needs a psych evaluation. I mean that seriously and literally. #25thAmendment https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/881503147168071680 8:44 AM - 2 Jul 2017 · Washington, DC 1,436 1,436 Retweets 2,831 2,831 likes Twitter Ads info and privacy Trumps video is edited footage stemming from his honest-to-God actual appearance at Wrestlemania 23 in 2007 (Its a whole thing). Anyway, the presidents tweet is an obvious swipe at CNN, who recently retracted a story claiming the Senate Intelligence Committee was investigating one of his campaign advisers. This was part of their probe into alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign.
Its not the first time critics called for Trumps removal under the 25th Amendment. Last time this happened was all the way back in the distant past of just last Thursday. Mean-spirited tweets directed at Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski caused some social media users to argue he was unfit for office, constitutionally speaking.
Calls to invoke the 25th Amendment will face some challenges, however. The short answer is that it has never been done before, so implementation remains hypothetical, and our current political situation makes it very unlikely. The slightly longer answer: the process requires that the Vice President and cabinet members have to tell Congress that the president is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, whatever that means. Then the VP becomes Acting President.
Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.
In other words, both a Republican cabinet and Congress, which features a GOP majority, must agree that Trump no longer belongs in the position. On top of that, LawNewz.com columnist Robert Barnes has argued that the presidents inability to function is, legally speaking, a narrow question: eg. the president is in coma, or suffers from a mental illness so severe he cant feed himself.
Nobody nuttier than the MSM. They aren’t going to do anything.
I’m gonna need more popcorn!
His tweets don’t make me think he is crazy...I think they have been tactically execute to “distract” or to give others cover.
I am trying to figure out what the other hand is doing.
The Trump tweet has 178,839 Likes so far.
The CNN response only has about 1,100 Likes.
Sure cabinet, go ahead and remove him from office. After all, you know best. But one thing, by midmorning the next day look out your office windows.
On second thought, you might want to avoid standing near the windows.
He is delegitimizing the media a process helped greatly along by the media itself.
Now wait a tic - I thought the uproar was over Trumps “mika tweet” LOL!
The media wants to lie with impunity.
The Democrats want to attack with impunity.
President Trump actually defends himself????? Well that’s crazy!!
50,000 re tweets in one hour...
A Repub senator shot they say very little in condemnation. A NYC play with Trump being assassinated every night for months, nothing. Celebrities calling for blowing up the White House and killing Trump, not a peep. Now he makes a joke and these pansies are indignant! Bwahahaha!
The Blond Bomber
I want Trump to tweet this next:
“Which profession gets rich by doing nothing? Answer: US senators”
They can jam this latest symptom of Trump Derangement Psychosis right up alongside their “Russia Collusion” brain fart. Nobody but the twisted perverts in the Mainstream Misleadia even cares what these putrid rump-plugs think.
Different day, different uproar -- same purpose.
All dems and left wing media (no longer calling them the MSM) are lacking a funny bone. Rather than taking the spoof in good stride, they are wringing their limp wrists that he’s calling for violence against reporters - lol!
Never mind that the dems and left wing media have constantly preached such hatred and LIES about Trump that they’ve worked their idiot followers into such violent frenzies causing attacks on conservatives all across the country - finally ending up with the shooting at the GOP baseball practice.
To become a socialist you must replace your sense of humor with a sense of entitlement and rage. It’s a two for one deal freeloaders can’t pass up!
Trump is just exercising his right to free speech and the media wants to prosecute him for it. Of course they are too dumb to grasp the irony here. They will just go unhinged and look foolish.
Do you have the link to the cnn response?
