House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) blamed the members of the Democratic Party for not having a clear message during an interview on CBS News’ “This Morning” on Monday.
CBS News’ Charlie Rose pointed out to Pelosi that Democrats have gone 0 and 4 in special elections in 2017 because people say that the Democratic Party has no message, aside from being anti-Trump.
Pelosi told Rose that this assertion was not true and that the special elections were elections that the Democrats were never going to win.
“There are 70 races that are easier for us than any of those. We would have never chosen to go in,” Pelosi explained.
“We just lost an election. We could write a message, but the fact is we need our members to write the message,” Pelosi concluded. “They know full well that’s something we’re working with the Senate to go forward.”

Throughout his life, Adolf Hitler had never been able to admit a single mistake or accept responsibility for any failure (sound familiar?).
And as the thousand-year Reich he founded teetered on the brink of collapse in early 1945, he blamed it on the weakness of the German people and a military organization riddled with timid, disloyal and incompetent officers.
If only they had really listened to him and let themselves be inspired. If only they had possessed the same will and determination as him – certainly everything would have turned out differently.
