I know, but I hope you’re wrong. He comes across to me like the kind of guy that at some point as he gets older, he would recognize the decline in his abilities and make adjustments to his climbing feats accordingly. I hope so.

So true. Many of his friends mentioned in the article perished doing their thing. Indeed, enough did to make it clearly more dangerous than being a very active, active duty SEAL.
