Most people have a very simplistic view of the world. Instead of seeing titanic structural forces like changing demographics, changing distributions of wealth, immigration and the like as causing events, they focus on one individual and assign blame for things not being the way they’d like. Gavrilo Princip, who shot Arch Duke Ferdinand, for example, was by all accounts incompetent as a man. He understood so little that he shot the one man most likely to grant him exactly what he wanted, a true partnership in the empire for his people. I read an analysis of about a hundred high profile assassinations, starting with Julius Caesar. In not one case did the assassination accomplish what the assassin wanted. In most cases, the opposite happened.
The ballpark demonstrated that at present they couldn’t assassinate anyone. He shoots 100 rounds, injures four, and gets killed—in a crowded ballpark and low security! A POTUS is surrounded by highly trained secret service men, who are conditioned to jump into the line of fire to save the POTUS, and they do advance work anywhere the POTUS is going to appear, covering every vantage point that might be used for a shooter before the POTUS even gets there. Given time, the snowflakes might train and equip a competent assassin. But by then, America will be well over them and into the Trump era.
And McKinley and Kennedy were both assassinated, along with Robert Kennedy, several attempts on Ford and one attempt on Reagan that failed only because the bullet was badly made. Now that they’re not at all interested in who killed Seth Rich and why, and are hell bent to believe that the Russians did something Russian because Russian, things are looking bleak.

If something happens to Trump, I have a feeling that the next civil war will erupt. It will be like the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

The sequel, London has Fallen, is just as clever. When the Westminster Bridge attack occurred I thought of that movie.
