He’s got the vapors. Bad. I hope he’s close to his fainting couch.

Poor little snowflake is melting in Phoenix. It is like this never happens. Same thing happened in Phoenix last year on the same date according to Rush.

I’m more concerned about our LOW... dang it, it might be 79 and shucks I’m old.
I told my fishing buddy that I would get a Window unit... Hell it’s just June...
Pays to stay well hydrated (but that window unit is starting to sound good)

Gee. It was only 107 here today. That’s not unusual for Texas though......

I live here. It was no big deal. Hot, yes! But the highways were a dream...I didn’t have to fight any traffic, my house didn’t burst into flames..and I absolutely LOVE this place!

It sounds like he’s writing about Phoenix in June.

They say Phoenix is warmer in the summer than it is in the winter.

Well, it is more than obvious that President Trump had better get over there and sign that Paris Accord so Phoenix can get some relief.

OR maybe we can get the MSM & POLS to STF for awhile to give things a chance to cool down.

Same old ‘Wish in one hand and Shiite in the other and see which one fills up fastest’

hey morford- I was out in Utah in 1993 I beleive it was- I was broke down after a 3 car accident- had to walk several miles to a hotel- it was 114 or so for a week 1/2 steady- and that was during the period when Satellite data showed NO global warming for 20 years-

So morford- what’s your point? That the US has never seen extended hot spells before? “Unprecedented”? Sorry- been there done that- The earth always has and always iwll experience spells of high heat- And I’m willing to bet if you look at the records, you will see high heat spells way back when as well-

Did you think we wouldn’t check or something morford?

There are usually 365 days in a year. That means on average 3 or 4 of those days would be the “hottest in the last 100 years” just based on random chance alone. This hottest in history (how long have we had good measurements for Phoenix?) will be broken a day or two a year at least just based on odds. Same with coolest.

I’m okay with heat and hope to be moving my family to Phoenix at the earliest opportunity. SF is dead last on my list.

I had a condo in western Arizona for a while and during the summer there was no such thing as cold water out of the tap. Even with the a/c on it still ran somewhere between warm and hot.
