When 66-year-old James Hodgkinson attempted to gun down as many Republican members of Congress as possible at a baseball field in Virginia, he permanently shattered the notion that we could go back to the way that things used to be in this country. At one time, Republicans and Democrats may have strongly disagreed with one another over the issues, but there was always a certain code of civility that everyone understood and respected. But now that is long gone, and if our politicians and the big media outlets continue to fuel the rising hatred in this country, it won't be too long before we are dealing with widespread chaos and civil unrest from coast to coast.

I believe so too.
From my own perspective, we are not getting enough police officers to replace the ones who are getting out for the private sector, retiring (on time or early), or make every effort to remove themselves from democrat enclaves. The Ferguson Effect is real, very much real.
This bodes not well for society at large.

3 weeks ago I attended a small-ish Karen Handel event put on by a neighborhood group at a small auditorium at a nearby office building. There were 40-50 people present.
The group was very much requiring RSVPs, and checking against their RSVP list to make sure no one not on the list wandered in. This because the campaign had seen all sorts of loony Ossoff-supporting disrupters show up at events, including some threatening violence. Which is not a smart thing to be doing in a state where 5% of the adult population has a concealed carry license.
If this insanity continues, and I see no one on the Left working to dampen it down (in fact quite the reverse), it is not going to end well. This is not a good thing.

With creeps such as Hodgkins — yes; however, Rep. Scalise is going to spend awhile in traction. I had a hip operation and that wasn’t as bad as getting my hip bone shattered as Rep. Scalise suffered.
Not only that, the law is written so you only have to think you are in danger to shoot. One of the things I miss most about Georgia.
Civilization as we know it in the land of the free is about to end in places like Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, and New Orleans.

Stock up on ordnance and organize local Committees of Safety.
Constitutional America will beat the left by destroying them one by one if necessary.
My fer is the copy ct nature of our world. Hijack a plane, run people over, knife attacks, mass shootings, etc. Now the target is politicians instead of regular people. Will we have another? It could come from left or right too

Yep, and there is a ton more on the street in the hands of those who have few compunctions of using them. Mostly on each other, but there are still those who are innocent victims.
More self defense gun uses as well, but the Mike Browns in society have no fear of gun owners or carriers.
They will operate in their comfort zones, but also makes those no-go zones.
Or, it MAY be a good thing. If the Darwin principle starts being applied... things could get loud and bloody but it may be time the libtards paid the price of their delusions.
I am definitely concerned. Freedom could be one or two generations from extinction. Look no further than the snowflakes that want to get rid of free speech. In life, you can’t unlike or unfollow and live in a bubble where everyone agrees with you.

I put a lot of the responsibility for this at the feet of the media, who have been fanning the flames for years. Hollywood and the general entertainment industry, as well as academics also deserve their share of the responsibility for this.
