I was not trying to “counter” your “point,” whatever it was.
Nor am I sure if it makes me sound like “pabulum,” whatever that is. (Would the plural not be pabula? Are they edible?)
In any case I was well raised (learned to write, recognize the difference between a statement, opinion, argument, etc.) by my WWII vet Ph.D. Dad and not my lovely but quite mentally ill Mother, who left him.
