This is what I just found on Target's webpage. Remind you of anything?
Here's a further hint:
Target Finds #TakePride edition
our curators put together a color-coordinated collection dedicated to being your authentic self in everything you do
I guess they finally woke up to their tranny bathroom mistake, and are trying to be a little more subtle in their social statements [wink-wink]. Tell me, FReepers---is it working?
“The day I visit my local Target, and discover all the mens underwear in stock just happens to be colored various shades of bright pink...”
Should have bought some and sent it to the NFL.
marketing to .6% of the population while losing approx 10-15% of customers because of their disgusting catering to the .6%- yup- sounds like a winning strategy- keep up the good work targets- you’ll be just like J.C Penny in a few years after they alienated Christians and conservatives too-
Won’t go to target- won’t shop at J.C Penny- won’t by a ford, won’t watch the boston redsox anymore- won’t eat at either McDonalds or Burger king because of their in your face gay agenda now- so yeah targets- now you belong to that list as well- There are plenty of other places to shop that don’t feel the disgusting need to cater to mental illnesses
Surprisingly (at least to me) is the fact that SLC has named a major thoroughfare after Harvey Milk.
I just saw an interesting headline on a science website a couple days ago which went along the same lines as your new name for the department store chain:
NASA wants to probe Uranus in search of gas
Mike Wehner @MikeWehner June 16th, 2017
I really can't tell if they did this on purpose or if they did not consider their headline.
Is this really such an achievement that the nation must celebrate?
Plus a homosexual theme on their website: https://www.target.com/c/pride-ways-to-shop/-/N-5589f
Same here. Now they’re spamming me with coupons for free stuff. Target made its bed, they can sleep in it.
Same goes for Pennys and any other social justice merchants.
Phooie!
City Hall in Houston is all lit up in rainbow colors in honor of Pride week, and there are matching lights on all the overpasses on the Southwest Freeway. One would think they still have their lesbian mayor instead of electing a Black to replace her. The Mayor has been incredibly busy this week what with presiding over a newly renovated park in honor of Juneteenth and then all this for the LGBTQ. Glad we don’t live in the city any more.
#12. Re what does a curator do in a discount store? He “curates”, that’s what (whatever that is).
BTW, my original post featured their "pride ways to shop" bit on their website.
I’m so old, I can remember when people wanted privacy and demanded that we get the government and corporate busybodies out of the bedroom.
Now people are demanding intervention.
Target lost me when they refused to allow the bell ringers during Christmas season.
June is Celebrate Mental Illness Month.
DUMB. I did the Color Me Beautiful fabrics and found which colors looked great on me, and which washed out my very fair Celtic skin. Blues, except turquoises, pinks, winter White, not white, certain shades of yellow, lt green...I’m a Summer. If you must wear black, wear it as a skirt or pant over a top of a color that flatters you.
And I didn’t need gay lovers to tell me how to dress.
That "takepride" display is political activism. They may engage in it but they shouldn't get all butthurt when consumers boycott their agenda driven business model.
Ask them where their Trump shirts are.
The rainbow lights over the highway were installed for Superbowl. Makes the city look like Vegas. Where are Fertita’s casinos?
just another reason NOT to go to target
just my luck i missed it- most of it- dang
Marketing to 2% of the population is not a plan Id follow if I were a discounter that wanted to stay in business. They are marketing to liberals in general, not just homos but "allies" as well.
