Vice President Mike Pence celebrated Father’s Day by adding two new members to his family.
The Pences welcomed a new kitten and dog into their home, according to a posting by daughter, Charlotte.
“And with loss, comes new life ~ Welcome to our family, Harley and Hazel!,” Charlotte Pence posted Sunday. She included pictures of her family cuddling with a tiny grey kitten and her father getting licked by a black and white pooch.

Yep....new pup and kitten will become best of friends.
That kitten will learn where all the quiet less accessible places are. They all do. And when she’s had enough, she will find her quiet space and hang out there. My Maine Coon knows all the places she can safely nap without the nuclear-powered energizer kitty Zizu being able to pounce on her. And Zizu knows all the places she can hide just to be mysterious and irksome :).

My older male loves people and doesn’t like being around other cats.
The Pences seem like a really nice family.
The dog looks like a Catahoula Hog Dog. State dog of LA.

My kitty has 3 private spaces whenever I can’t find him I check those 3 spaces and he will always be in one or another!!!

Richy is gray and so is the sidewalk there, which he kept laying down on with bicycles zooming by. After a few tries we finally succeeded is shooing him away.

We have a dog & 3 cats. You’d have to have a cold heart to not love cats. You strike me as a softie under all that toughness ; )
We took our first road trip, 1200 miles, w/ our rescue dog weve had for almost a year. We boarded two of our cats & our tamed feral is being looked after by a friend. Cats & dogs are wonderful additions to the family. One of my best friends won’t get her son a dog he desperately wants because she doesn’t want her floors ruined. Animal scratches & scuffs make a house a home.
I am also jealous.....5 furballs!
