magine two decades of never being able to fully relieve yourself in the bathroom.
That was the experience a 22-year-old Chinese man lived with before doctors in Shanghai removed 30 inches of his extremely swollen colon. Weighing nearly 29 pounds, his colon was filled with feces that had accumulated there over his lifetime. He told doctors that hed suffered constipation for his entire life, and that laxatives only offered minor relief. Doctor Yin Lu of Tenth Peoples Hospital of Shanghai, where the surgery was performed, told Chinese news site The Paper that the mans abdomen looked as if he was more than nine months pregnant.

Crap like this has never seen the light of day.
Having to take some opiate pain killers briefly after my surgery gave me some incredible constipation. Nothing worked to remedy it except a few tablespoons of mineral oil.
After my surgery, I took exactly ONE pain killer, and stopped. I figured I would rather deal with the pain, than that other issue. 😷🙄😊

He was a regular at "Man Country" but that would be funny...

Had similar experience after surgery. Psyllium husks are a great source of fiber to fix that. I prefer taking them in capsule form. It has the side-benefit of helping lower cholesterol levels.
Ahhh yes. I remember that super-bean burrito from around Christmas 2003. It was a good one
Heh, heh!
Had a related problem years ago until one day the wife announced that her mother was moving in with us and I've been regular as an atomic clock since......
LOL

Our dog came home from knee surgery Wednesday and last pooped four days ago. Same thing in animals given pain meds.
Tramadol: “Other side effects your dog might have include agitation, anxiety, tremors, constipation,”
Amazing stuff- super clean-out and cheap enough at around $1.50 a bottle.
“A diet of mainly white rice (Wall paper paste) will do that to you.”
That’s racist.
Yes, have been using “Natural Calm” powder for over a year.
