I’m with you too. I supported Trump from the first day of the campaign. But I know Trump’s flaws, he’s been a media celebrity for decades. He’s not perfect, he can learn to do some things better.
The people who are making a cult of personality around Trump, non-ironically, are people who only started supporting Trump after he had the nomination in hand. These are your basic movement conservatives who supported G. W. Bush and haven’t changed much. They still think of politics like sports, they root for their team no matter what and won’t be realistic or objective about anything. Hyper partisanship is what motivates them. They are unbothered by Trump breaking his campaign policies because they largely disagree with those policies.
For some reason, these types really like kissing butt of leaders. They just dismiss any constructive criticism off hand. It’s just like it was in the Bush years.
I liked the photo op, and everything attached to the cabinet meeting.

What I saw was the sincere admiration by the President’s newly formed cabinet of their leader, President Trump. From what I understand, this was the first time they had assembled together. It was an eventful time. What they all expressed, from their own experience with him, was how impressed they were with the job President Trump has done. Obama’s poor performance has let our nation slide downward so far that picking up the pieces is an enormous task. The message conveyed by the cabinet is that President Trump has rose to the occasion in a commendable way.
Those nay-sayers who ridicule Trump’s cabinet’s support need to quit wasting time and get to work for our nation’s sake.
