I can still do every one of his routines from all of his albums and I loved his TV shows. He should have been an example not just for black youth but for all youth.

One year for Christmas (might have been 1968) I got a little cheap record player...one of the albums that came with it was a collection of Cosby doing sports comedy routines...I laughed so much at that...'if you think I'm gonna run second, after the man said MY NAME, you must be high!'

I had a Cosby album in the ‘60s, too. His routine about Noah was hilarious: “What’s a cubit?” The whole album was funny but I don’t remember specifics.
