Finally!
I thought this thread would go to 100 posts before someone mentioned the undisputed queen of folk rock.
"Free Man In Paris" has been playing in my head since post #1.
I admire her formidable talent as an songwriter but her voice wasn’t appealing to me. Still, I did see her @ 40 years ago and she put on a great show. Ain’t no flies on her, for sure, but I always felt that other artists gave her songs a ‘magic’ her own voice couldn’t. She’s a heck of a painter, too.
