This may not work with MRI’s. I have trouble with blood draws that take a long time. Last time they gave me an alcohol swab to sniff and it worked well.
Me too! The longer it takes, the more it FEELS like they are sucking the lifeblood out of me. I take my husband along in with me, as the 'official distractor'. Not that it helps with that feeling, but at least he makes sure I don't try to leave before I can be steady standing up...
