>> and still serve as Precinct Committeemen
Unbelievable. Thanks, greeneyes.
More than 30 years ago, I was invited by a good neighbor to help canvas for the local GOP. My neighbor was a true gentleman, but eventually I discovered the local council, apart from my neighbor, was directed by self-serving dirtbags focused on their wants. I walked away.
I’d like to see a vehicle that could penetrate and reform the cloisters of established corruption that have infected most every congressional district throughout the Country.
You know that old quote? “All it takes for evil to exist is for good men to do nothing.”
Well, it’s true. Disgusting as the local dirt bags may be, there are bound to be some honest people in the community/precinct - the task is to convince them to unseat the dirt bags and then be honorable enough to resist the temptation that will come their way.
What hope has a nation when a precinct of 500 can’t even elect honest conservatives? This nation is toast, unless local communities clean house. JMHO.
