Yes, I do believe my dream said it all about my feelings for Mensa.

Amazing how our true feelings have a habit of dominating our dreams.

Vike, I'd be real careful about this. I've met lots of people who are truly smarter than me, and test indicate that I have a pretty good rating. Should I become angry with them for it? Check out the Dunning-Kruger Effect

Excerpt:

Broadly speaking, the Dunning-Kruger Effect is defined as “a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability to recognize their [own] ineptitude.”

The actors James Woods and Tommy Lee Jones, and probably Clint Eastwood, are very, very intelligent, and wise enough to know they do best in their chosen field. Donal Trump is not highly intelligent, but he is a very cunning schemer, which is different. He is not the Washington or Lincoln or Eisenhower one needs as a leader of a compelling fraction of the lesser as well as more able citizens of the nation.

The "status quo"? By definition it is what it is, and given time, changes.
