Chelsea Clinton hasn’t won a lifetime achievement award in several weeks, but that doesn’t mean she’s off the speaking circuit. The Presidential progeny has been out promoting her children’s book about her mother, She Persisted, and Monday appeared at the annual conference for Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere (CARE).
Needless to say, the “activist, thought leader and change agent” as she was described in the program’s agenda, had a number of worthwhile contributions to the discussion, which centered around empowering the oppressed—something with which the heir to the Clinton legacy has little practical experience.
Her advice to the legions of underprivileged women looking to affect change on a community level wasn’t particularly scintillating—”we have to always start by listening and calling out and giving a platform, and encouraging, particularly, those who are and have been structurally dis-empowered”—but the disgruntled Chelsea had some harsh words for those who don’t share her progressive ideology.
They should be silenced if they don’t agree with Chelsea Clinton.(snip)
Asked to comment on “global poverty,” Clinton suggested that climate change and global warming were somehow “interconnected” with child marriage, a practice performed mostly in the Eastern world, and mostly the result of backwards cultural norms, not rising ocean tides and extreme temperature.
Fortunately for Chelsea, CARE is a decidedly progressive organization, that prides itself on encouraging foreign aid and wealth redistribution in the name of social justice, so they didn’t ask too many questions.

There are many small blessings and mercies in Trump’s victory but the absence of the Clintons and their frenzied pointing at nothing and nobody is one of them.
Like the cliched Human Backdrop, the Clintons have always done this ridiculous pointing routine as if they see old friends in the crowd. 1) They have no friends. 2) Anyone they care to recognize is probably a donor.
Kerry did the same thing in 2004, having learned the silly routine from the Clintons and DNC toadies. As usual, he couldn’t pull the stunt off and his audiences wondered why he kept pointing at a blank back wall.

My children were born in the 60s and I would imagine I have changed more diapers than her...
(I virtually followed ALL the old traits from my Fathers & Grandfathers generation)..
None of that taking leave for a birth or hanging out in the delivery room...
We had more ‘important’ things to do like pass out cigars at the local gin mill while acting like you actually ‘accomplished’ something that no one else has EVER done...

Her so-called award is from a cable channel fraudulently named "Lifetime."
Any award they grant has no more value than a cereal decoder ring and does not suggest a real world award of any value whatsoever.
Nor, of course, any human positive achievement of any kind. She might as well be a homeless person.
