Bullshit. He didn’t end any tyranny, freed no one and did his level best to destroy the nation. He’s lucky Lincoln didn’t hang him.

It’s true that Lee couldn’t end Lincoln’s tyranny but considering his generalship couldn’t overcome the disparity in resources.
