OMG. That stuff worse than poison ivy. If I were exposed to it, you might as well just shoot me & put me out of my misery.
I’ve read that it can take many months for the ‘burn’ or blister to heal.
When I bought my property it was overgrown with those wild parsnips. Took me two years to get rid of them. When it was overcast, raining or right after a thunderstorm, I’d be out there pulling them out by the root. They smelled heavenly, like celery. I avoided the area during a sunny day.
Even now when I have someone mowing my yard, I request that they wear gloves, pants and a shirt. When mowing over the baby plants hidden in the grass, droplets jump up and cause those rashes.
