Ann Coulter, you are now officially dead to me.

You are becoming Glenn Beck. An anti-Trump CRAZY person.

Your GOOFY opinions hold ZERO sway with me anymore.

Heh, by the way, what kind of job is President Romney doing?

You're right about the time line. Liberals have always taken the long view. They look for ways to infiltrate the lifeblood of society and are content to work over a time defined by generations rather than days or weeks. And they are content with chipping away at their opposition so long as in the end they sweep the board.

Just look how they've done it in this country. They knew the best way to achieve their long-term goals were to take over the educational systems and the popular media. They have done this. Their first target was the baby boomer generation, so the leftists implanted themselves into the educational system, knowing that if they could influence the mass of young skulls full of mush that were to take power a generation later, they'd have the upper hand. Look at the spawn of that: Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama, Pocahontas Warren, Kamala Harris, and an entire rogue's gallery of leftist ideologues. And of course the media is hopelessly leftist.

We need to know and understand this if we're going to beat them. They know as long as we insist on an all-or-nothing, take-my-ball-and-go-home approach to countering their entrenched position, we're going to lose. The liberals will try to use that as a wedge to sow discontent and division ("See? Trump didn't do everything he said in the first 10 minutes of his presidency! You should throw him overboard!") Yes, we should try to make headway when we can, but we should not judge our people and our allies by whether or not they achieve everything demanded within the short time we often expect. Keep a steady hand on the wheel, and chip away and don't try to win a marathon by running sprints.

“When I found out Trump had fired him, the relief I felt defies quantification. It was like getting an absessed tooth treated. Sheer delight.”

So IOW: You were just being impatient, and didn’t care about the real process of getting these things done.

Not being personally critical, this is the problem with the right in general. They have been weaned on the quickie solutions that talk radio makes you think exist, and not the process as it really does.

Trump needed to have the deputy AG offer his recommendation for Comey’s firing. That guy got there just 2 weeks ago.

This was never explained to us. Instead commentators just wail and cry that Trump isnt “going to do anything”.

Emotion over reality.

You underestimate the damage a dirty FBI Director can do. Trump has always known the Democrats would try to destroy him. That’s his wheelhouse; he can deal with them.

Trump had no way of knowing what a dirty cop Comey is. Trump didn’t know that Comey would be lighting fires daily, to make sure Trump had to spend an outsized amount of time putting them out. There are only so many hours in a day. Comey was taking up far, far too many of them.

Rather than argue, let’s revisit this issue. Give Trump time to replace Comey and sack McCabe. Then let’s see if Trump’s agenda starts advancing at a faster clip. That will be dispositive—and a lot less time consuming than arguing about it now.

The bottom line for me is: we elected him as PRESIDENT, not Santa Claus.

Yes, my impulse is to want to see a LOT of change, REAL fast, but we live in the REAL world with REAL evil and enemies.

Stuff does take time... as long as the walk is heading in the right direction...

Not so much impatient as distressingly frustrated over the harm Comey was doing. I would think anyone that fully backs Trump would have felt similarly. Comey was the Enemy Within, sabotaging Trump daily. It’s hard to watch that play out in real time.

Yes, but these aren’t the 1950’s, when we could just “throw the bums out,” and wait the next 4 years out. This is literally our last shot. The (cough-cough) face of the nation has changed. The average Mexican woman, in mexico, has 2 children. Here in the US, that same Mexican woman has 6 children! 6! Just with those numbers, with those millions of millions of foreigners breeding like Viagra-munching rabbits, we stand very little to no chance of ever making America great again. Mexico is not great. Vietnam is not great. Kenya is not great. America was great not long ago (cough-cough) for some reason. Man I have to do something about this cough.

‘I believe they should recommend he do prime time addresses as Reagan did. Make the case to the American people from the Oval Office. A well rehearsed message and in Teleprompter not off the cuff. Take it to the American people. Tell them what you are trying to do, how you wish for it to be done and why it is good for our Country’

That’s not bad advice but it’s premature. Before he could do anything else, Trump had to get to the bottom of the active, IC-behind-the-scenes attempt to destroy him.

Iow, when somebody is trying to literally destroy you, you have to address that first. Then you have the flexibility to focus on other things.
