Andrew Wilkow is the best on radio.
I’m listening to him now.
I enjoy listening to him except when he gets going on the topic education. It’s not him so much but the guests he has when he discusses it and then he allocates to much time for it.
I consider this a good thing
Thanks LS for the insight.
After Beck was dropped from Fox News, and from BOR’s live show tour (replaced by Dennis Miller); I lost interest in Beck.
Just like I am losing interest in BOR now.
His morning show is different than his evening show. It is mews event analysis oriented. It’s good. Much better than Beck
Thanks.
Both Barton and Beck are obsessed with the US being the same as Germany in the thirties. They are as bad as Jones and his false flags
Thor drank the Kool Aid
I heard a couple of those segments years ago. Not funny. Is he still doing it?
Surprised Beck is still on the air. Haven't listened for years.
I just wonder what, exactly, is keeping him on so many stations between 9a-12p. Is it lack of a recognizable name in the same time period?
Seems to me that daypart is screaming for a viable alternative at this point.
I will agree with the lot of you talking about moron trivia. It’s like being rude to the waiter/waitress, bell hop or cashier. You’re not known by the manners you show people that can help you, you’re known by the manners you show people that can’t help you.
Nobody likes Beck.
I totally agree marron. You nailed it. Such a waste that Beck has fallen so far down.
Glen Beck shows you can be a wacko and still find lots of low hanging DNC fruit to expose.
That’s very true. Being anti-Trump was the final nail in the coffin.
Thank you for posting you insight into the downward slide of Glenn Beck.
I have no idea. I stopped listening at least a couple of years before Trump ran for president.
He went from can’t miss TV to must miss everything featuring him.
Beck followers are even more nuts...if that’s possible
” The ascension of Trump has also given the careers of some political pundits a suckerpunch in the belly. “
Glenn loudly proclaimed he would and wanted to die on his hill...
Congratulations and get some freakin help. You need a better psychiatrist....
I used to listen to him back in the early 2000-2003 period. He was on a station in Maine and I was driving around there all day, every day. He was fun, funny, and I agreed with him on almost everything.
I was a loyal listener to him on a couple of cross country trips with Sirius XM in the truck.
Then he started going off the rails. He did the “just watch tomorrow” crap one too many times.
I had forgotten about how much I liked him back in the day. I haven tuned him in for years.
That time Slot is traditionally not the most viable. Rush changed the culture of talk radio in many ways, but his dominance from the midday slot was a revolution as much as many other things. Early morning radio and afternoon/evening radio traditionally were top slots because of the commuting time. From 9 - noon people are working. Same with noon to 3 (although you get the lunch break). Rush made noon to 3 must-hear radio. Not sure how desireable that 9-12 spot really is from a competitive standpoint.
I went to one of his rallies for America at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and it was a sight to see. He was great and it was the pinnacle of his popularity. Subsequently, he slipped further downward mentally, emotionally, politically and I suppose physically.
