Lisa Bundy, wife of imprisoned protestor Ammon Bundy, received several messages from people who had heard her description of what happened to her husband while in s 3 foot by 3 foot shower stall in the Nevada Southern Detention Center and challenged her as to its veracity. They said they could not believe what she was saying was true.
Theirin lies the very essence of what is wrong with America, Americans live in a bubble. A bubble consisting of trips to Walmart, piano recitals, walking the dog and weekend outings in the RV. No, the description that Lisa Bundy gives us does not fit in our bubble and so we reject it. She must be exaggerating, she must be embellishing the truth to get more sympathy.....
Those who kmow Ammon Bundy will testify that a more honest, humble, meek and mild man than him is difficult to find. Darkness hates light. Ammon radiates light.
We are seeing firsthand the dynamics that brought about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The same hate, the same evil, the same lust for pain and humiliation that was poured out on the Lamb of God. Right now he is bringing out the worst in prison guards and their handlers to break him and his spirit. Ammon is popping the bubble for millions of Americans who must now either wake up to the awful reality of what Americans are capable of doing to other Americans or, they simply roll over and go back to sleep.
During his prison phone call to Kelli Stewart, he was describing what happened to him. Kelli later remarked, "That was not the same Ammon we know. He sounds like a broken man.".......

Americans really don’t give a squat about torture in prison.
I could with little effort find thousands of examples of people on this very forum cheering prison torture - usually cheering rape in particular.
That’s what we got, and this country is by and large totally cool with it. We know this because any decent and civilized people would have put these barbaric practices to an end long ago.

Despite your protestations, I find the mere fact the Bundy’s are encarcerated without trial, much less conviction, to be a travesty certainly akin to torture, and were it me, I would have seen it so. We have little clue what goes on in a Federal lockup, but I believe the stories I have heard first person from those who have experienced what does go on.
This thread has turned out like so many on this site - something is posted and then instead of finding a way to get to the truth or falsehood of the article, it reverts to name calling and arguing that goes nowhere.
No matter what is posted anywhere seems like half can prove it’s true and half can prove it’s false. I come to this site for knowledge and answers, decent discussion. Thanks for keeping us informed with your posts on this topic.

Absolutely agree.
I have often thought FR needs a ‘ping back timer’ that could be set to ping you back to the thread at a set time in the future, where maybe the facts will be clearer or a prediction will then be proven or not. As it is now, these types of threads usually just disappear as a million new things on the internet come along and then fade away, despite strong opinions on both sides of an issue, claim, or prediction. I don’t think I have ever seen a years old thread suddenly light up with folks saying ‘I guess I was wrong about that.’

The Bundy boys are being held in prison with no bail on what amounts to an act of criminal trespass. But surely they aren’t being tortured. Get a clue.
From first hand experience which I’m sure you have never had and I sincerely hope you don’t let me assure you that the US govt is an evil entity and you never want that eye looking at you.
