They are so powerful that they can break muzzles. I watched a video of a pitt bull raging in a fenced yard, he wiped the muzzle aside in preparation to attack. Pitts have been reported to break through glass doors, windows and chew through chain link because once on the hunt/attack mode, they don’t stop. That’s why enthusiasts like them????????
I think it should be illegal to have one. Why would anyone take the risk? I worked with a nurse once, who always talked up her “gentle as a baby” pit bull. I saw her a few months later, and she was talking about her wonderful Doberman, who she had trained to “smile” for an Oreo. “What about your pit bull?”, I asked her. “That thing?”, she said. “Oh, I shot it! It tried to attack me!”
