He’s a very intelligent man, and as you say, he’s changed his spots. I’m glad he became “apolitical” and speaks like a Libertarian. I suppose that’s a death sentence in Hollywood, too.

He must have had a huge change in his life. He made absolute sense and loves the Constitution. Amazed.
I agreed with him 100% as did Tucker Carlson. I thought Tucker was unprepared for the interview. Very interesting.

His mental chemistry has finally straightened out or he has better meds. He’s matured but just about all actors are bat$hit crazy and he was no exception. 15 years ago he’d be out front on the Hellary bandwagon.
This is a must see video - starting at 4 min mark he talks about how civics is not taught (since 1970 and most congress members did not learn it), the constitution, and his website (below) and sign the preamble to the constitution as a gesture of support to bring back civics.

I don’t follow Richard Dreyfuss, so I don’t know how he normally appears, but I think this guy looks “ill,” like a guy with cancer.
Dreyfus came across, as he usually does, as a pompous, would be intellectual. Unfortunately Carlson let him dodge the opening issue: does President Trump have the authority to sequester funds from other political entities as has been done in the past, most recently by Obama? Dreyfus avoided that and went off on a tangent about teaching civics, the Constitution, and so on and so forth. Boring.
That was a shocker!

Agree. That’s the only time I’ve heard Dreyfuss talk sensibly. ....He’s right about the need to return to teaching Civics in public schools, so kids can learn why the Constitution came about and the US was created, as well as how the US government works. ....Very surprised.
I saw Dreyfuss speak to a high school marching band organization back in 1996. The Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis. I felt then that Dreyfuss’ message was one of promoting constitutional government/civics to the students while he kept his personal political leanings out of the talk. Maybe, just maybe, he has not always been a complete leftist loon.
