I saw Dreyfuss speak to a high school marching band organization back in 1996. The Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis. I felt then that Dreyfuss’ message was one of promoting constitutional government/civics to the students while he kept his personal political leanings out of the talk. Maybe, just maybe, he has not always been a complete leftist loon.

Unfortunately, we lost Ron Silver too soon. :-(

A story I remember about Silver was when Clintoon was first erected, there was a Hollywierd party celebrating the democratic/socialist party victory. Ron Silver was there as the committed commie he was at that time. It so happens that a flight of navy or air force fighter jets did a fly over near this Hollywierd party house. Ron Silver was outraged, saying, "what are those fighters doing here!" Another Hollywierd party goer said, "relax Ron, those fighters are ours now!" Meaning, they're under the commie Clintons control.

From that point I disliked Silver. After 911, Silver had a complete change in attitude and I saw him as a good guy. Contrast that with scumbag Dryfuss, who for eight years NEVER said a word about Obummer shredding the Constitution. However, three months after Trump is elected, Dryfuss feels the need to get on with Tucker to tell the viewers that only congress can spend OR withhold money. The constitution says so. Since Trump is the only one I know of who is talking of withholding money from sanctuary cities, I don't think it's a coincidence.

Nice job Dryfuss, camouflage your hate for Trump with your sudden love for the constitution.

It’s probably for the best that most FReepers don’t really have the capacity to grasp why Richard Dreyfuss didn’t say or do anything to stop it, and why Kevin Spacey thought it was perfectly fine to grope his son in front of him. The vast majority of replies on this thread will think Dreyfuss is just a liberal wimp but if anyone ever gets right down to it, I’d say the likelihood is very high that he did not disapprove.

Listen, crazy, I never was “proud” of Dreyfuss—so as in April, you are still trying to putting words in my mouth. No one knew waaay back in April that Dreyfuss had these other issues, and how dare you try to infer that I was or am defending his personal behavior. No one knew—not you, not me, only the people involved. So obviously, I was not or am not defending his personal behavior. That said,

1. His behavior was not and is not exclusive to Hollywood or democrats.

2. His sexual harassment does not affect fact that he wants Constitution taught in schools, and I still think that is good idea because quite obviously it is not being taught.

3. His push for Constitutional literacy will be lost due to his bad behavior...That is unfortunate.
