That’s sad to hear as I went to Hickory Hollow when I visited Nashville back a little over twenty years ago. I remember also the Rivergate one up north of the city.

Memphis once had a decent mall. The Mall of Memphis. It was great to go to for several years. Then the feral thugs showed up and the long decline ensued. There were several murders there giving it the nickname The Mall of Murder. It shut down a couple of years after the first few killings. It’s completely gone and a new building is going up in its place. I wish the owners more luck than the last owners of the space.

BTW, there is a neat website, deadmalls.com. It’s an interesting site.
