“If you get that TV be sure to get the best HDMI cables out there. Believe me it makes a difference. “

HDMI is digital. I have cheap cables and my picture is perfect. Believe me it makes no difference.

This article is from 2010 or before 4K TVs were well in the market.

Keep in mind this writter thinks Vista and Windows 7 operate at the same speed.... That should tell you everything you need to know for their knowledge.

Oh and the Gold tip HDMIs do not cost that much, and yes they do make a difference.

You can find articles from people saying the Earth is flat, the sky is green and the grass is really blue. Although the writters may really belive it.... That does not make it the case.

Putting cheap cables on a nice TV is like putting cheap tires on a fancy car.

Each to their own I guess?

However, you want a cable that supports ALL the features of the HDMI 2.0 standard. Only the newest cables support this, so if you're getting them from a place like Monoprice make sure the cable supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.

That article isn’t entirely accurate. Yes, the cable doesn’t matter as long as the device sending the data is sending it a speed the cable can handle and the distance is short. Most HDMI devices that you connect to your TV aren’t going to push data at a rate that will require a high performance cable.
