Worked just up the road from Roseville.

If you started your car and walked away from it, your car was gone!!!

Auto theft in,Roseville was only exceeded by auto theft in Hazel Park.

The point is this particular law was put into place for a reason.

I had a car stolen in Pontiac that I was letting warm up during the winter. That was 25 years ago, in -20 degree weather.

And the cops who took the report didn’t even offer me a ride home. A cold lesson to be sure.

The point is this particular law was put into place for a reason.

Its illegal in Boston too, but in their case its to "save the planet".

"It's against the law. Unnecessary idling is punishable by a citation and fines. Repeat violations can lead to up to $25,000 in fines."

Perhaps there would be fewer auto thefts if the cops were focusing their efforts on car thieves instead of innocent citizens trying to warm up their cars.
