Authorities say around 12:30 p.m. on April 15, a 25-year-old man was assaulted and robbed after leaving a restaurant on B and Tioga Streets.
The suspects punched and kicked the victim in the head until he was unconscious, police say.
One of the attackers then went through the victim’s pockets, stealing his cell phone, wallet and money.
The three suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Police describe the first suspect as a black or Hispanic male, with a scruffy beard and a mustache. He was wearing a black skully hat, a black coat and black sweatpants.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male with bushy hair. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, red pants and red sneakers.
The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a stocky build, a beard and a mustache. He had a cast on his right arm, tattoos on both arms, and was wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and red sneakers

And nobody recognizes these murderers?
That’s what I thought too— maybe they are considered black-Hispanic. Okay, they’re black.
What race/ethnicity was the victim, I wonder. Hispanic men rarely have bears. Converts? Not Hispanic?
Si I wonder if the guy with the cast and red shoes will have to go back to have his cast removed. If yes then maybe his Doctor will recognize him and turn him in.
Having lived in SoCal from 1969-2015, I feel fairly confident in my ability to identify people of Latino heritage.
This is not it.
I too fled SoCal a few years ago. I read the other day that the LA Unified School District, (that I was a part of,) is now 8% White! 8%. Holy cow.
The video at the site leads me to believe the victim is black. though I could be wrong.
Hopefully, the detectives will be circulating the picture of the perp with a cast on his hand to medical facilities. He will be remembered and there will be a record of him.

Hmm. I wonder if it would be possible to find all black males who had a cast applied to a broken bone in the right extremity in the last six weeks, maybe get info from all the hospitals in a 20 mile radius, and cross match to the DMV license pictures. Maybe even narrow it to an age range.
Probably some HIPAA thing would get in the way, though. Seems like that is how it would have been done in the old days, though. However, I presume they might be able to get that data with a subpoena.
I had one on my left leg up to the knee. Eventually I wanted to run a coat hanger in there to scratch that infernal itching.

They took him to the hospital, where they casted both of his lower extremities, but because he had to do the demo, he signed himself out of the hospital against the advice of the clearly angry doctors. When he took the plane up, he destroyed both of the casts, putting the plane thorough a violent performance.
He landed and went back to the hospital, where they refused to cast his legs again, and he had to find some unlicensed doctor somewhere to cast his feet and he gave specific instructions to the doctor on how to make the cast smaller so he could fly.
He went up the next day, and broke one of the casts, and was unable to push that rudder pedal, so he did the entire show with only using the other rudder pedal, nobody noticed, and they bought the planes!
After a few more days, he ended up ripping the casts off himself, IIRC. I think he had to have both of his ankles later re-broken to get them to heal correctly.
