I did have a Blessed Easter today. I spent it in the woods hiking with my dog. We hiked mostly in the water, which is really fun, and ridiculous exercise for both of us.
But a number of times I was struck by the beauty of God’s world. It’s just magnificent, and I thanked Him for giving me life and the opportunity to walk through with one of His wonderful dogs.
Thank you for the kind Easter wishes, I and hope that you also had a Blessed Easter.
Me and the little crazy woman spent the day on spring cleaning chores. After which we cooked at pork roast and all the fixings and entertained guests.
Said grace and sat down for a meal with friends and family.
Nice.
Happy Easter!
The United States could never have been so founded without Christianity.
Well... due to deadlines, after a little time with my family this morning, today’s been mostly work. But by next Wed. I can hopefully take a little better break!
Thanks in turn to you all.
I found something on the Internet that I have on the fridge...
Something about a dog was accompanying God as He named all of the creatures.
And when God was done, the dog looked up at Him and said, “Is there nothing left for me?”
And God said, “I have saved the best for last. I will turn my name around and call you dog,”
I have had dogs all my life. They are amazing...military, police, bomb sniffers, helpers for the blind and disabled.
Makes me want to go cuddle my 2 year-old black lab. :)
Glad you had a nice day.
Allvthe best, FRIend..
