It may have made sense with “Live and Let Die” which was based in Louisiana, but by coincidence having him vacation in Thailand at the same time as Bond was there in “The Man With the Golden Gun” was really a stretch.

One of the worst Bonds except for the astro-spiral jump which was a real jump first performed in the Houston Astrodome.
Back in ‘74 I met the guys in Jay Milligan’s thrill show at a local fair (Danbury, CT) and got all there autographs. What a thrill for a 12 year old kid.
They got shrimp boats in Thailand ....its plausible .....,.:o)
