Congratulations. Your pens were the better team. Yeah, I cried, I really wanted the Preds to at least win tonight. They had a great season and a great run.
With the salary caps it is a huge sacrifice for greats like Crosby to perfect a Stanley Cup winning team two years in a row. I get that and admire the Pens for that. Murray was on FIRE tonight and I have great admiration for him.
Just when I think I can’t go months with no hockey, it breaks my heart most years here at the end so I need a break from my favorite sport just to heal! I got to live in Cup town for two recent years when the Kings won and that was amazing and special. So I should shut up and not complain.
I love that Cup and was smiling through my tears when the players hoisted and did their skate.
Back to back, I’m jealous!

I’m still unable to congratulate the team that won, but thank you for hosting the thread again this year. It was a great year for hockey. I hope the officials do some serious reviews of their terrible postseason work. I don’t understand why a penalty in January isn’t a penalty in May or June. Consistency would be nice. Now for the super boring time of year between hockey and college football.
