I have NEVER seen a re-make of anything, probably because I HAVE seen a couple of second and third chapters (of whatever) and nothing can add to or entertain me as much as the original.
Planet of the Apes ENDS with Heston and his girl going off to have babies and start all over again and we don't need to be part of that trek ... it's already recorded in the Bible.
